OLAKHOTA NORTHERN INUIT DOGS

Not Just a Pretty Face.

The Northern Inuit dog is very versatile, with the right training and loads of patience, they can practically do anything, my own dogs are getting very good at mushing, Inca had her very first time in harness recently along with Tukki, she was excellent, i cant fault her at all, she just followed Tukki's lead.
Others have excelled at Obedience and Agility, there are NI PAT dogs and even Search and Rescue.  Its a well known fact that the NI can have a very low boredom threshold, they hate repetition, but under the right circumstances will gladly do your bidding.
I can throw sticks for Tukki and he will fetch it back........the first time, after that, if I throw, he will look at me as if to say 'you threw it, you go fetch it'.  Things have to be interesting for them, if they are particularly food orientated, then training will be a piece of cake, scuse the pun.
